Regiment Support Service Donates £5,100 to The Stoll Foundation to Support Vulnerable Veterans

The Regiment Support Service (RSS) is pleased to announce a donation of £5,100 to The Stoll Foundation, a leading UK charity that provides housing and vital support services to veterans who are vulnerable, disabled, or at risk of homelessness.

This donation was made possible through The Homeless Soldier Project, an initiative launched by RSS to raise awareness of veteran homelessness and generate funds for the charitable organisations working on the front lines of this growing social challenge. The campaign has received strong support from UK businesses and the wider public, who have purchased Homeless Soldier Project lapel badges or made direct sponsorship contributions.

The Stoll Foundation has been providing safe and affordable accommodation for ex-Service personnel for over a century. Today, their work is more important than ever. With properties in West London and Aldershot, Stoll offers more than just a roof over veterans’ heads—it provides a lifeline. Their comprehensive services include:

  • Independent Living Support – helping veterans manage their tenancies and maintain long-term stability

  • Employment and Financial Advice – assisting with the transition to civilian life

  • Wellbeing and Social Activities – reducing loneliness and promoting connection and resilience

A quote from The Stoll Foundation: “We are incredibly thankful to the Regiment Support Service for their generous donation of £5,100 to The Stoll Foundation. This funding will directly support our work providing safe, affordable housing and tailored support services for vulnerable and homeless veterans. With this contribution, we can offer more personalised care plans, mental health support, and pathways to employment—helping veterans rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Support like this is vital to ensuring no veteran is left behind.” Hattie Ford, Communications & Marketing Manager — The Stoll Foundation James Caddick, Founder of The Regiment Support Service, commented: "The challenges facing veterans—especially those returning to civilian life without support—are real and urgent. The Homeless Soldier Project was our way of highlighting this issue and taking direct action. We’re incredibly proud to support The Stoll Foundation, an organisation that is delivering real, lasting impact where it’s most needed."

RSS has been supporting the Armed Forces community for nearly 15 years. Through innovative fundraising—such as the provision of regimental notebooks and lapel badges. This latest donation underscores our continued commitment to supporting those who serve—and those who have served.
